Robert "Bob" Glass 1927-2021 WB4TCU was granted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on Oct 21, 2004.

Robert "Bob" Ersel Glass passed away on August 15, 2021 just shy of his 94th birthday. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia and went on to serve in the U.S. Army in Korea where he was injured in battle and awarded a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. He moved to Norfolk in 1958 where he eventually retired from Norfolk Southern. He belonged to Azalea Baptist Church, Tarrallton Seniors Club and Radio Amateurs Society of Norfolk. He was Past Master of Corinthian Lodge #266.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mary Glass; wife Betty Glass; three brothers and one sister; grandson Michael Logan; and great grandson Troy Logan.

Survived by son Jerry Glass and his wife Hope; son Larry Logan and his wife Marsha; grandson Paul Logan and his wife Kimberley; P.J. Prather; great-grandchildren L.J. Logan, Emily Logan, Carter Logan; and eight great - great - grandchildren. Also left to cherish his memory are his dear friends Jimmy and Edna Harrison and Jarvis Rickman.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Community Living Center at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Hampton. Bob lived the last five years of his life there and his life was enriched by the love and care he received. Memorial donations can be made to the Scholarship Fund of Corinthian Lodge #266, c/o Richard Young, 209 Millwood Avenue, Chesapeake, VA 23322.

Masonic Rites will be held for Robert "Bob" Glass on Tuesday, August 24 at 12 noon at Altmeyer Funeral Home 5033 Rouse Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Graveside service will be that same day at 2 pm at Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.
